"PAYVAZHIK" IS SELECTED FOR Moscow Shorts ISFF
The short film PAYVAZHIK written and directed by Hojjat Gholami is among the selectees of the 4th edition of Moscow Shorts.
Moscow Shorts ISFF is an international short film competition, with In-Person Screenings in Moscow and other cities in Russia. Moscow Shorts is the first short film festival in Russia that held monthly screenings in a cinema theatre.
Synopsis: Mohammad has an obsessive character. He is from a traditional family. About two weeks before his wedding, he and his wife-to-be get to be alone together at his friend’s house Amirreza. Since then, Mohammad’s behavior has changed and has second thoughts about marrying Parastoo. This change of behavior gets so extreme that his close friends notice it and they try to calm him down. On the other hand, Mohammad attempts to contact his therapist but she doesn’t respond and that makes it more intense for him. Finally Mohammad decides not to go through with the wedding.
