Richmond International Film Festival hosts “Mahakan”

The 11th richmond int'l film fest is held on june 7-12

The short film Mahakan written and directed by Hessam Hosseini and Abbas Hoseinzadeh will be screened in The Richmond International Film Festival.

The Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF) is one of the Mid-Atlantic’s largest international competitive festivals. RIFF is a collaborative platform for filmmakers, writers, and musicians that brings great talent together, and helps launch careers.

Synopsis: “Maahakaan” is the story of a family who forces their seven-year-old daughter to undertake the responsibility for the murder his father committed, saving her father’s life from the death sentence.
