"DOG FIGHT" is selected for the 13th Iranian Film Festival in San Francisco
The short film Dog fight written and directed by Ali Arefnasab is selected for the 13th Iranian Film Festival (IFF) – San Francisco which is held on 19th and 20th od september.
Iranian Film Festival – San Francisco” is the first independent Iranian film festival outside of Iran, launched in 2008, showcasing independent feature and short films made by or about Iranians from around the world.
Synopsis: In a dog fight venue, a referee expels two gamblers who keep fighting with one another. Gamblers let their dogs fight outside the main venue, with a jointly bought sheep as the prize. One of the dogs dies in the fight and its owner kills the other dog for revenge: and the war begins..
