“YOCHEVED” GOES ON SCREEN AT FAJR INT. FILM FEST
IRAN'S INT'L FILM FESTIVAL IS HELD FROM 19TH TO 24TH OCTOBER
The short film Yocheved written and directed by Sahar Khoshcheshman is in official selection of the 38th Fajr International Film Festival.
The festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and newcomers, and showcases films promoting artistic contribution to the medium.
Synopsis: Nourjahan is a one-sided Afghan seeking illegal asylum to America with Kaveh. They work together ripping off rich guys but soon Kaveh figures out that only one of them can leave the country since they won’t be able to make enough money in a short period to pay for the cross of both of them. And now he needs to make a choice.
